Transportation

In the picture you see above, locals are riding in a vehicle called a tuk tuk. These are said to be widely used accross the city. If someone is not driving a tuk tuk then they are either riding in a bus, on a bike of some sort, or any normal car (nothing fancy though). India is not exactly known for their advanced forms of transpotation.
Immigration and Emigration
New Delhi and Mumbai get a total of 38,000 temporary entry applications and 600 permanent residence applications annually. The people coming into India are usually very diverse people, a lot of different religions and languages and ethnicities. There is no serious pull factor to New Delhi except for the generic reasons like family, jobs in that area, and to explore to areas of the world. The estimated net migration rate for 2010-2015 is -0.2 per 1,000 population (this is emigration), which is actually quite low. The push factors of New Delhi are the very low jobs and money, the economics. The simple way to say it, there are more people than there are jobs, and the rate of pay is around only 1/6 or that in America. In addition to that, the city is horribly dirty. Particles travel in the air, and it is not very rare to get some sort of respiratory disease when living in any part of India. This could have a huge impact on India, because from the looks of it, more people want to move out of India than the people wanting to move in. It could change how India works, because soon they won't have as many people, and no one will fill up the jobs!
Goods and Ideas
Goods and ideas probably get into India from tourists, and visitors. People that come to explore India from any other country, come and intermingle with the locals and spread ideas. And sometimes other countries ship goods to places in need, maybe India has gotten some stuff from other countries that they have revised to their own version! Really there is no other way for goods and ideas to get around unless different people from different places share them.
